Too much downtime

You all know that when I have too much downtime I am usually found out in the garage doing some project. Just yesterday I spent 5 hrs. sanding the last piece of Nate and Kendra's bedroom set. They did the rest of it when they were engaged but this dresser has been sitting in their garage for six years. I told them I would love to do it if Kendra would help me with making two quilts for Drew and Hayden's beds. This changing table was pretty easy to make and I was wondering if any of you think it would sell if I put it on ksl or ebay or something? How much would I even ask for something like that? It took me maybe 6 hrs. to build. Well, The little bed that you see in the pic is Hayden's new bed that is on wheels and as soon as he will show us that he will sleep in it consistently we will put it under Drew's bed as a trundle. They are getting quite the log bedroom set and I love making this stuff.

Hey Lamon,
This is amazing. You are so gifted. I'd look on the web and see what other log furniture is going for. It would be more expensive than an end table or a night stand, but not as much as a crib. Your work is so amazing. I hope Hayden learns quickly to sleep in his bed. I'll bet the boys are loving it.

I'd say you could probably sell it. Every time Betty sees your handiwork I feel like somehow like I've been showed up. But big brothers are supposed to set that kind of example right. Keep things going. And keep taking care of your cute family.

I didn't even realize until today that you had your own blog! I'm pretty sure that you are amazing and you should do all of the furniture in my house...as soon as I get married and can afford a blessing. Don't worry I'm giving you a lot of time as there are no prospects right now. :) One little question: Do you think you could give me a little bit of that downtime that you have so much of?

I love the furniture, you could totally sell it. Have you ever tried selling on craigslist.com? We have bought and sold a few pieces from there before. Your kids and new baby are way to cute, please tell Mary HI for me. Take Care!!!

Lamon, that is so amazing. You truly have a gift. I think that would definately sell. I would list it for between $200-$250. Fancy changing tables is stores run just under $200, and really fancy ones are more than that. It would be nice if your could screw somekind of safety belt on it. I never used mine (it's amazing I never have had a child fall off), but people buying it may be interested to strap their kids in. Love ya!! Jeanine
